London, UK 15th July 2021, The former Swivel Secure COO will build an industry-leading CIAM solution. Swivel Secure, the leading authentication solutions provider, has today announced the appointment of Alex Rocha as CEO. The 44-year-old technology leader succeeds former CEO Adrian Jones, who has departed from the company.
In his previous role as Chief Operating Officer at Swivel Secure, Alex successfully expanded the company into several new markets, including the Middle East, and secured multiple global strategic alliances with SailPoint and SAP. Alex has previously held Senior Executive positions at high-growth companies like Deloitte and Altran, and is well position to understand the strategies by which they achieved billion-dollar valuations.
As CEO Alex will strengthen existing relationships with Microsoft, Citrix, Palo Alto, SailPoint, and SAP, to build a CIAM solution, which is an essential tool for managing user identity. Our solution will make it easy for businesses to accurately identify customers and easily and efficiently onboard them, increasing customer loyalty and protecting sensitive data.

Alex has a Bachelor’s Degree in Game Theory for Strategic Advantage from MIT, an eMBA from ESIC Business & Marketing School in Madrid, and a degree in IT from the Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon. Within the Cybersecurity space, he has attained CompTIA Security+, CISSP from (ISC)², and IRAM2 from ISF. Utilising his vast technical knowledge, he leverages his sales skills to improve and redesign strategies from SMB to Enterprise in the IT market. Alex is an innovation enthusiast. He has lived and worked in four countries and speaks four languages fluently.
