Chris Russell takes on The Great Yorkshire Bike Ride Again

Posted: May 20th 2015

On Saturday 6 June our CTO, Chris Russell will be taking on The Great Yorkshire Bike Ride for the second time. By cycling the impressive 70 mile stretch from Wetherby to Filey, Chris wants to raise as much money as possible for the following charities:

About the ride

The Great Yorkshire Bike Ride is more than just a fundraising event, it’s a beautiful route across the best of Yorkshire and a great day out.

The event started in 1984 and has become bigger each year. What started out as a one-off bike ride organised to raise money for Tockwith Youth Club in 1983, now sees 2,000 people take part in one of the biggest cycling events in Yorkshire, so far raising almost £2.5m for charity.
